The Interest point acquisition, unlike scanner or photo acquisitions, is triggered manually by the operator during the flight.
It is configured in the Cloud, within the acquisition group (see the article Create an acquisition). Depending on its configuration, the number of icons displayed on the tablet may vary.
This acquisition allows you to add one or more additional pieces of information for a specific location, for instance if the operator notices something unusual on the tablet screen during the flight.
This could be: a structural defect, a damaged pallet, damaged goods on a pallet, as well as two additional custom Interest points 1 and 2.
During the mission, there are two possible cases for adding an interest point:
1. The drone is waiting for confirmation from the operator to validate the location.
In this case, the button to add one or more interest points appears on the screen.
By clicking this button, the operator can choose which Interest point(s) to add:
2. Add an Interest Point during the flight
While the drone is moving, the Interest Point button does not appear.
Click on the Pause button. The Interest Point button will then be displayed, and you can add one or several Interest Points before clicking on the Play button to resume the mission.
Note: Interest Points visualization on the Cloud
Once the mission has been uploaded to the Cloud, by consulting this mission you can view the face layout containing all the Interest Points that were added.
The Interest Points added are also visible in a table further down the page.
They can be downloaded in CSV format.
