Create an expected file with the ‘OR’ function

We call the ‘OR’ function the creation of an expected file with either one code or another for the same location.

If you expect either one code or another at the same location and finding either one validates the presence of your pallet, use this option.

To do this, you will need to create an expected file like the one below, with the location names in column A as usual, and the two possible acquisitions separated by the || sign in the next column:

If the expected value imported for a location is 361290123||20200000, the value read will be considered correct if it is equal to 361290123 or 20200000.

You will therefore need to enter this character twice and not insert any spaces between the code or between the symbols.

Please note that when correcting errors in the cloud, if you copy and paste the "expected value" into the "read value" field, the box will not turn green; it will remain red. Please follow the instructions below.

Usually, during the cloud inventory error correction phase, once you have verified that the expected value matches the value on the pallet (via photo or physical verification), you replace the read value with the expected value and the box turns green.

In the example of a classic correction below, after clicking on the round blue button, the code read will become the same as the expected code and the box preview will turn green.

When correcting a task with ‘OR’, you will need to copy not the entire expectation, but only the code found (via the photo or physically) on the palette and paste it into the ‘read value’ field.
