Once the mission has been executed and uploaded to the Cloud, there are 6 steps to analysing the results.
Go to the Inventories or Missions menu, depending on where the mission was created.
Step 1: Analysis start: Change the mission’ status to 'In progress'
In the list of missions, the mission you have just uploaded to the Cloud is ‘ Unchecked ’ (the default status of a mission uploaded to the Cloud).
Click on the mission to view it, and change the status to ‘In progress’ as soon as you start checking it, so that other checkers are aware of it.
On the left you can find all the information about the mission: name, the different acquisitions retrieved for each location, the mission type, etc.
On the right is the visual of the face.
The meaning of the various icons can be accessed by hovering the mouse over the '?':
The ‘Route’ display shows the drone's flight path.
The ‘Interest points’ display allows you to view the face with the various icons representing any information added by the operator during the flight.
The ‘Dynamic search’ option can be ticked if the storage is dynamic. In this case, the search for the code is validated on the complete cell, and the icon display is updated dynamically.
Step 2: Check the errors – pallet status and comment
Clicking on a location opens a window with details of that location:
The photo(s) can be downloaded by clicking on the links at the top left.
You can navigate from one location to another by clicking on the blue arrows.
Use the red arrows to move from one location to another.
The ‘Expected’ field shows the code in your stock.
The ‘Read’ field shows the code detected by the drone, or NO_SCAN if it was unable to read the code, or EMPTY if it detected the location as empty.
Add a pallet status:
Add a comment:
Save.
Check each location in error by navigating with the red arrows, adding pallet status and comment.
The pallet status and comment are important: you will be able to download a results file containing only the locations in error, and the pallet status and comments will appear in this file: they will be very useful for the operators who check these locations in the warehouse.
This saves a lot of time: the verification will be more efficient.
For more details, see the article Consult and visualize the mission results
Step 3: Download the file of error locations
In the Scans table, click on the configuration icon. You can choose which options you want in the CSV file of results.
Select the ‘Errors’ configuration (if it exists) and apply :
Or apply a custom configuration if you want other options in the results file:
Click on the download icon and choose the CSV or PDF format to download the file:
Example for the CSV format:
Depending on the selected options and the number of codes to be retrieved, the number of columns will be different.
Example with the ‘Errors’ report configuration:
For more details, see the article Export the mission results
Step 4: Check the locations in the warehouse / WMS
Use the error file to check and/or correct the various stock errors in the warehouse and/or the WMS.
Pallet status and comments are useful for this check.
Step 5: Correct errors on the Cloud
Click on the mission you have checked in the warehouse and in the WMS.
Click on the locations in error.
Modify the expected code or the code read according to your check.
If you modify the expected code, click on this button to directly replace the code read by the expected code:
If the location is empty, click this button to replace the code values read by ‘EMPTY’ :
Update the pallet and comment status if necessary:
Fix any errors.
For more details, see the article Consult and visualize the mission results
Step 6: Analysis End - Change the mission status to 'Checked'
When the mission has been fully checked and the various errors corrected, change the status to ‘Checked’:
This way, you and the other people checking the inventory will know exactly which missions remain to be corrected.
- Step 7 is specific to the Inventories menu -
Step 7: Download the complete inventory results
To download the CSV file containing the results of all the missions in the inventory, click on the download icon in the top right-hand corner of the missions table:
Unlike the file specific to each mission, this file cannot be configured.
It contains columns for location names, read & expected codes for each scanner acquisition, and columns for pallet status and comments.
For example :
Step 8: Dashboard, tracking inventory
In the ‘Dashboard’ menu, you can monitor the inventory and various elements such as errors, empty locations, average time per location, number of re-do's / operator movements.
These values can be displayed for a selection of one or more depots/zones/faces, for a chosen period.
When this page is displayed, the graphs appear empty. As soon as you select a date and validate the form, each graph will be filled in automatically.
There are several ways of displaying the values:
In the PDF, whatever the options chosen, the graphics displayed correspond to this selection, as do the contents of the tooltips for greater clarity.
The CSV contains data in number format only.
Clicking on the ‘Display warehouse report’ button will display :
- The pallet locations visited for the entire warehouse
- The pallet locations visited for each zone
- Visited pallet locations, mandatory code errors and empty locations for activated faces in each zone
This gives a detailed view of the inventory for each item in a warehouse, over the chosen period.
You can download PDF or CSV files of the graphs displayed according to the chosen configuration, together with the values.
